Autozam AZ-1
Yeah, we get weird stuff. Like this Autozam AZ-1, a Japanese market Kei car of which two examples exist in the US (that we know of). We were asked to make the car usable by US-shaped drivers, and give it a good going over.
In order to make persons over 5-foot-4 able to drive the car, we replaced the seats with those typically found in a Lotus Elise, and moved the heater controls to the dash, thereby freeing up an area for one’s left leg to exist. We also gave the engine and turbo system a good going over, and tweaked the audio system with a custom iPhone-driven solution (mostly because we stole the stock radio location for the heater controls).
