Ferrari Testarossa EFI
Everyone loves the iconic looks of the Ferrari Testarossa. Those who own them tend to put up with the not so great electrical system and mechanical fuel injection because of said looks— but there’s no reason you can’t have the best of both worlds.
This Testarossa is the latest example of our Motec-based EFI conversion system for all Bosch Jetronic MFI platforms— we replace the whole ball of wax with a modern EFI system that Just Works, all driven with the latest Motec M1 ECU. The result is a Testarossa that produces more power, lower emissions, and even more spine-tingling V12 sound than it did from the factory.
This particular example also received a Capristo exhaust, our hand made headers, a full interior refresh wherein we replaced the questionable chocolate brown leather with fresh black hides, an upgraded fuse panel and electrical system, our updated heating and cooling ECU, and numerous other refinements that make this one of the best examples of the Testarossa around.
One of our favorite things to do on this car was an audiophile stereo system using completely vintage and incredibly hard to find components from Nakamichi, Butler and MB Quart. It now drives, and sounds, as good as it looks.
